Every VPS Hosting plan includes a Cloudflare CDN at no extra charge. Foundation and Growth include the Cloudflare Free tier; Commerce and Scale include the higher-performance Cloudflare Pro tier. This article covers what that gives you and when to expect it on your account.

What the CDN does for you

  • Serves your site from a global edge network, so visitors load pages from a server near them instead of only from your VPS.
  • Provides DDoS protection and a web application firewall.
  • Adds caching that reduces load on your VPS during traffic spikes.
  • Commerce and Scale's Pro tier adds faster image optimization and more advanced caching rules than the Free tier.

When it appears on your account

Your CDN is not something you select or pay for at checkout — it's provisioned automatically after your VPS order is completed. It typically appears in your Client Area under Services within a few minutes of your VPS being set up, though it can take longer during high sign-up volume. You won't see it in your shopping cart, and that's expected.

Managing your Cloudflare settings

Once your CDN service appears in your account, you can manage its DNS records, SSL, caching, and page rules directly from the Client Area. See How to access and manage your Cloudflare settings from the Client Area for step-by-step instructions.

If your CDN hasn't appeared

Give it up to 24 hours after your VPS is active. If it still isn't listed under Services after that, open a support ticket and our team will add it manually — no need to purchase anything separately, it's already included in your plan.
