You can read and send your Liberation Email / Hub for Teams mail in any email app: iPhone/iPad Mail, Android, Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird and others. Use the settings below.

Settings

Incoming (IMAP)Outgoing (SMTP)
Servermail.liberation.emailmail.liberation.email
Port993465
SecuritySSL/TLSSSL/TLS
UsernameYour full email address
PasswordYour email (Hub for Teams) password
AuthenticationOutgoing server requires authentication: Yes (use same username and password)

If those ports don't work (some networks block them), use IMAP port 143 and SMTP port 587, both with STARTTLS. POP3 is also available on port 995 (SSL), but we recommend IMAP so your mail stays in sync on every device.

iPhone / iPad

  1. Open Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account.
  2. Enter your name, full email address, password, and a description. Tap Next.
  3. Choose IMAP. Enter mail.liberation.email as both the Incoming and Outgoing Host Name, with your full email address and password in both sections. Tap Next, then Save.

Android

  1. Open your email app (Gmail or Samsung Email) > Add account > Other.
  2. Enter your email address, choose Manual setup > IMAP, and enter the settings from the table.

Outlook (Windows or Mac)

  1. File > Add Account (Windows) or Outlook > Settings > Accounts > + (Mac).
  2. Enter your email address, choose Advanced options > Let me set up my account manually, then pick IMAP.
  3. Enter the settings from the table and finish.
Tip: Folders missing in Outlook? Outlook sometimes shows only “subscribed” IMAP folders. Right-click your account > IMAP Folders… > Query, select the folders you want, click Subscribe, and uncheck “When displaying hierarchy in Outlook, show only subscribed folders”. If Outlook still misbehaves, Thunderbird or Apple Mail work very well with Hub.
