Merging Lists in Liberation Campaign

If you have multiple lists and you wish to send a campaign to all of them, this can be achieved by either duplicating the campaign and sending it once per list, or by merging lists together.

Merging is the best method as it ensures no duplicate email addresses exist, preventing someone from receiving it multiple times.

To merge 2 or more lists together into a new list follow these steps

1. Go to Lists > Lists
2. Copy an existing list that you wish to merge with or create a new empty list, all subscribers will be added to this list
3. Go to Lists > Tools and click Sync
   
   
   
   
4. Set the source and target lists
   Primary List: Set to the list you wish to sync subscribers from
   Secondary List: Set to the list you wish to sync subscribers to
   
   
5. Actions
   Missing subscribers: Create subscriber in secondary list
   Duplicate subscribers: Delete from secondary list
   Distinct subscriber status: Do nothing
   
   
   
   
6. Click Sync
7. Repeat the process changing the primary list until all lists have been merged

Alternative Method

If you have a primary list and want to copy subscribers of a particular status into it from another list, then you can use the lists copy tool

1. Go to Lists > Lists and click on your primary list you wish to copy subscribers into
2. Click Tools on the right
   
   
   
   
3. Click Copy on the right
   
   
4. List: Select the list you wish to copy subscribers from
   Segment: Set if desired
   Only with these statuses: Select 1 or more statuses (Hold ctrl to select multiple statuses)
   Action against the status: Either leave as is or force confirmed to set all statuses to confirmed
   
   
   
   
5. Click Copy
