Add your subdomain to Google Search Console to make sure it is visible on Google.
- Go to Google Search Console and log in to your Google Account;
- If you have used Google Search Console before, click on the domain dropdown menu in the top-left corner and select "Add property";
- Enter your subdomain name in "URL prefix" option (example: https://example.com);
- Click "Continue";
- In "Other verification methods" section, select "HTML tag" option;
- Copy the provided HTML tag and add it to your website by following our "How to add HTML Meta tags?" FAQ article;
- After adding HTML tag in website builder, click "Verify" in Google Search Console;
- Once you have added the subdomain, go to "Sitemaps" page in Google Search Console;
- In the "Add a new sitemap" section, add "sitemap.xml" to your subdomain and click "Submit"(example: https://example.com/sitemap.xml).
Once you have completed all steps, the subdomain and its sitemap are added to the Google Search Console. Depending on the website size, it may take a little while before the subdomain becomes visible in Google search results.
