Liberation Campaign lets you add additional users to your account so your team can help manage campaigns, lists, and templates without sharing your own login. These additional logins are called subaccounts, and you control exactly what each one is allowed to do.
Creating a New Subaccount
- Log in to Liberation Campaign.
- Go to your account menu and select Subaccounts.
- Click Create new subaccount.
- Fill in the required fields:
- First name and Last name
- Email and Confirm email
- Password and Confirm password – this sets the subaccount's initial login password. The new user can change it later (see below).
- Timezone
- Birth date
- Language (optional)
- Status – Active, Inactive, or Disabled
- Optionally add a Phone number, an avatar, and an "Inactivate at" date if you want the subaccount to automatically expire on a specific date.
- Toggle Send details via email if you'd like Liberation Campaign to email the new user their login details directly.
Setting Permissions
Below the account details, you'll find a set of permission checkboxes that control what the subaccount can access:
- Manage lists
- Manage campaigns
- Manage servers
- Manage surveys
- Manage api keys
- Manage domains
- Manage email templates
- Manage landing pages
Only check the boxes for the areas you want that user to work in. You can come back and adjust these permissions at any time from the Subaccounts page.
Editing or Removing a Subaccount
From the Subaccounts list, click on any existing subaccount to update their details, change their permissions, or set their Status to Inactive/Disabled to remove their access without deleting the account entirely.
Note: Subaccounts share your account's sending reputation, lists, and billing – they are additional logins into your Liberation Campaign account, not separate paid accounts.
For instructions on how a subaccount (or you) can change their own password after the account is created, see: Managing Your Password in Liberation Campaign.
